Frequently asked questions

Attire


Lockers and towels are provided for most services. A robe and slippers will be provided for all spa services. Quapaw Thermal Water guests and Steam Cave guests must wear proper swim attire and all plastic or rubber slip on shoes on all tile floors. If you do not have your own shoes we do sell them to guests for $7 dollars plus tax. Cut-offs, t-shirts, tank tops, athletic shorts, athletic tops, thongs, and undergarments are not permitted in any of our water services. Face masks are required to enter our facility. Face shields do not subsitute as a face mask.




Service Availability


All of our services are available to individuals 14 years of age and older. Youths between the ages of 14 and 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please call ahead for availability of massages, facials, private baths, steam caves, and blowout bar services.




Arrival


For the best experience, please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to any scheduled spa services. A modified service will be performed for late arrivals if time permits; appointment will end at scheduled time. Please allow extra time for racing meets, traffic, and summer season traffic. We do recommend calling 2 – 3 weeks in advance to schedule services.




Cancellation Policy


Reservations are required for all spa services and private mineral baths. Walk-ins will be accepted subject to availability. If you must cancel your scheduled appointment, please call at least 24 hours prior to your service time to avoid cancellation charges. A credit card is required for all reservations.




Health Conditions


For your health and the health of all our guests, individuals who have a pacemaker, a defibrillator, are mestruating, pregnant, incontinent, or under the influence of alcohol cannot enter the Thermal Mineral Water Pools or our Private Baths (menstruating women may partake in Private Baths). None of our water services are recommended for individuals who have high or low blood pressure or heart conditions. The Steam Cave is not recommended for individuals who suffer from claustrophobia, diabetes, or those with breathing problems. Individuals under the age of 14 or those reliant on oxygen tanks will not be permitted. Guests with special needs or disabilities, please call prior to arrival so we may better accommodate your needs.




Prenatal Services


Our prenatal services are limited to facials and blowout bar services only.




Hours of Operation


We are open Wednesday-Monday from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Our pool admittance stops at 5:00pm. The Quapaw Boutique and Quapaw Cafe generally close at 5:00pm. We are closed on Thanksgiving day, Christmas, and Easter. We will close at 4:00pm on November 24, 2021 (day before Thanksgiving) and December 24, 2021 (Christmas Eve) for the Holidays. Pool admittance on these two days will stop at 3:00pm. We will be closed from January 1, 2022 to January 13, 2022 and will reopen at 10am on January 14, 2022.




Booking


If you need to book an appointment, please give us a call at 501-609-9822. If we do not pick up, leave a voicemail and a receptionist will give you a call back as soon as possible. Please keep in mind that we are open Wednesday through Monday from 10:00am to 6:00pm. If you call us while we are closed, we will not call you back until after 10:00am on our next operational day. We experience high call volume times at 10:00am and around 1:00pm every operational day. Wednesdays and Mondays are our highest call volumes days. WE DO NOT BOOK ONLINE, THROUGH FACEBOOK, OR VIA EMAIL.
